Guppies Dying!

ok my high ph in very soft water. it says soft water but high alkalinity? how do you fix it?! please help, fish dying pretty quick!!

water changes to get the PH down, very quickly. Do a good clean out - gravel vac and filter clean and get some carbon and Zeolite in if possible. You can get pH stabiliser from most pet shops, i would get some ASAP

Hi if you could answer a few questions regarding your tank we may be able to help more
1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.
3. How often you do water changes and how much.
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?

Unless the fish haven't be properly acclimatise you may get deaths from ph,but to be honest it could also be poor water quality.
Adding products to adjust the ph,will only stress your fish out more,its better to have a stable ph than one that fluctuates.

Also how long has the tank been set up?
