Guppies And Platys

happen to have a male guppy and 4 platys... not quite sure how to differenciate the gender.. does color help? happen to know that one of them is female. can guppies and platys cross-breed?

Hi joshua, please read: http/fish.orbust.net/livebearers.html for sexing your fish. Guppies and platies can not inter breed so there is no need to worry about some sort of mutant hybrid

i'm not so sure thats true i have difrent fish but it could be the same out come my mollie and platy crossbread because i only have one mollie and 2 platys about three mounths after i got her she got fat!! so mabey guppies and plats can
