Gulper Discoloration

I had to move my adult gulper in a 30 gallon temporarily while I set up a new species tank. However, he has become molted, his original dark brown has become spots and he is turning a yellowish color. Is this stress from moving, or could it be something else?

I dont like to say it but Dan at Tropical Imports had a few of his gulpers do exactly that and each one of them died, the cause was unknown.

I would raise the temperature to 28c add an airstone and cover the tank with a towel for 24 hours to allow the fish to de stress.

Thanks CFC, I feared it was that bad. I have never had them do that before, even when I got them. I just did everything you said, but before I did the little guy was actually getting most of his dark brown back, with only a few 2 cm long yellow spots.
