guess what happened today

today i went to the airshow!!i got absoloutly soaking anyway i was wandering around when guess what i saw.Yep.fairground goldfish.I went over and had a look.They all looked so sad in their little bags.I could help it(someone hit me!!!!)i payed a whole £1.50 and hooked a duck!I picked the saddest looking one.Dunno why but he just looked at me and i had to take him.He has loads of scales missing and a black spoldge on his fin and all hs fins are ripped.Ive put him in a bowl with some meds.I didnt want to risk him in the 44gallon yet.Coz i still have my other rescue in there and i dont yet know what desises little bob has got.
i got him in a plastic bag which sed this on the back.


now that you have become the owner of this fish it is possible that it will give you many years of happiness.as soon as possible place the fish in a suitable container.An aquarium 12x8x8.or larger.Or a fish bowl.Make sure to only fill the water to half.Feed sparingly once a day.Place in some water weed to keep it healhy and some rocks for shade.If the bowl is in the sunlight it will go green.Change the water once every two weeks.

At least the put some form of information on there, even though it's not quite accurate. I also thought they banned goldfish as prizes in the UK?

Good luck with him anyhow, the raggedy ones always have the sweetest personalities.

aww poor little fish, but i'm glad you rescued the worst one.
keep him isolated for a couple of weeks to make sure he hasnt got anything too nasty. good luck with him

he is in a 3gallon bowl for afew weeks.I dont wanna spread any desise he has to any others.Then when he grows stringer he will go into the pond with the big guys.

Aw! Now that is a sad thing. Maybe next time alert the police and direct them to the problem?

they new and i dont really think they gave a c**p to be honest they didnt even give the fish a second look
