i dont really maintence it well. just claen out the protien skimmer and add water. i have a few different corals going strong. to my surprise the other day im looking in my tank and see little arms sticking out of the gravel. my anemenie had babies. i got 3 little guys and they eat cut shrimp like champs. just excited because in all my years of fish keeping (even guppies) nothing ever breeds.

cordylas or something like that.

That looks very much like Aiptasia to me its a pest as it stings corals and fish

sorry bud, but thats not something u would want in your tank

so its not a condy anemone? i have a big condy in my tank since i started it. usually hangs out on one side of the tank and doesnt bother anyone

Nope, sorry to say it's an aiptasia anemone, one you REALLY wouldn't want in your tank. Like Morri said, it'll sting your fish and corals and hurt them. If it's on the gravel I'd say just grab the piece of gravel it's latched on to and toss it out, unless you're really keen on keeping every grain of substrate. If that's the case, burn it with a torch, boil it for a while, or use some chemicals to kill it off, such as JoesJuice. Don't try to scrape it or pick it off with your hands, you'll most likely leave a little piece of it and not know it, and it will grow back with a vengeance.
