I am very excited as may be getting two junior GSPs this weekend! I have everything to set up today, the tank will be padded out gradually, have enough for now but a weeks time is payday for lots more excitiing things to be added. They have about 20 the LFS and all are looking amazingly healthy and funny about an inch if that!

Setting up soon and will clone filter just before getting them hopefully, need to ring on Friday to see if ready and hopefully Saturday may have! If not will have to wait for following weekend due to lifts etc.

So very excited and sorry to squeal but cant wait! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

yay fantastic lilacammy i can't wait for pics of them and the setup, :good: im thinking of setting a puffer tank up in my new and free lol 500L corner tank with heavy planting ,but ive got to convince the girlfriend that she can't have it for her turtles lol

I can help convince her! I am so jealous a 500litre? Get a porcupine! LOL, sorry thats my dream puff. If you did what would you go for? I am biase but no not turtles! Convince her she definately wants underwater puppies! I have some good youtube videos that are way too cute

Just be prepared for a little bareness in the tank, have quite few bits and bobs, just nothing tall and need lots more to keep the babes happy. Just really really hope they are ready this sat, they are over the white spot and think they are just being responsible for them which is nice. Im also hopeful as even though tiny there are a lot in quite small tank but all seemed pretty well fed and curious!

well we allready have 10 turtles you see and they do need more room (we rescue them)

we really do like porcupine puffers i think its her favourite too but it means starting marine and i havent much knowledge on marine

my 825L is going marine in a few months hopefully like is said though ive not got a clue though lol

i was thinking gsp's or dwarfes something on those lines i think you and nelly are a bad influence on me lol getting me into them hehe

Oh that would be amazing! Aw that is really sweet you rescue them, is it usually because people are given wrong info on tank sizes etc and they dont want them? p.s 825litre?! how many tanks and enormous tanks do youhave lol. My 180 litre is big enough for me for now ;)

a 5.6ftx2ftx2.6ft 825L
4x3x3 triangle 511L
4x2x2
3x2x2
18x1x1 fry tank
2x1x18 fry tank
jewel rio 300 coming at weekend hopefully
4x4x2 pond :good:
and im upgrading to a 8x3x3 in a couple of months im just paying it off at the mo
so just 1 or 2 tanks lol

we rescue them from all over the country the worst ones where from crewe dumped outside a school they are male false map turtle and a female mississippi map (just started breeding now)
and a 2" chinese soft shell which was kept in a plastic chinese tub

OK WOW! On the tank front, blimey! And aw the sweet things! That is a really nice thing you do for them (not sure can convince your girlfriend anymore  too good a cause!). Well I better drag myself off in a mo and start cleaning my sand.

i know lol im going to have to build a racking system in the shed aswell i think i have a shed full of tanks too but they are gathering dust at the mo and a couple need repair mostly 2ft'rs but there is a 4x1x1 in there that needs repair

well washed and washed and washed and now adding water, but looks pretty cloudy, fingers crossed it settles quick!

Oh wow you are mixmaster of tanks for sure! Got any threads going on the little guys for me to peek? :hyper:

mixmaster please do!

nelly - maidnehead aquatics christchurch, they have been ill with white spot, just recovered and just keeping eye on them hopefully for weekend, they were all too cute and not sure how on earth going to pick just two!

hmmm...not only cloudy water, just realised might have collected fluval 4 plus filter without the sucker pad attachment. It is a complete submersible, I should be ok to wedge somehow? what do you guys think?
