i was wondering how fast the black ghost knifefish will grow. i would like to purchase to put in my 55 gallon tank( which i know is too small for adult) but i will be buying a 120-140 gallon tank in about half year, will this be sifficient time or will the bgk outgrow my 55 by then?

IMO, 6 months in a 55g would be ok for a BGK, they don't grow extremely fast
