Growth On Live Rock

hello
when i got the LR from my LFS it had this green grass like growth didnt know if it was bad or not so i didnt remove it but i cant seem to identify it any ideas?

i had that in my tank its a type of algae. my hermit crabs ate most of mine. well i think they did as its all gone and lots of my hermits were on the rock. if your hermit crabs dont touch it then get an emerald crab.

I would guess at hair algae if you can remove it manualy do so if not a mithrax crab will munch at it.
