Grotto Rock Hurts

had a bloke come for some of our marine fish last night, had to move the LR out of the tank to catch the little buggers. got one really big bit of grotto, completely forgot that it was in there and that i should use gloves to pick it up. i've sliced open all the tips of my fingers. typing is very very difficult today

i know, part of me is glad cos it'll make life much easier, but obviously i'm really gonna miss it. will have to concentrate my efforts on Ian's planted tank...... it needs some work.

our front room is gonna look so bare with just 1 tank in it! On the plus side though we will then have room for a bookcase which we desperatley need.

Ian and I both read a lot and our book situation at home is getting out of hand. we're having two bookcases, one in the bedroom for fiction and that sort of thing, then one in the living room for our high brow coffee table type books.

One of our windows facing the garden has books on its sill. Above those on a shelf, there are boxes for growing mealworms and pots for growing weeds. All for our crazy zoo.


Now we are searching desperately for space to "squeeze in" a 75 gallons tank for a cowfish.
