Hello all. Just wanted to give a quick greeting before I jump in and get my feet wet so to speak. I have 2 tanks that are small & hence only one inhabitant each (a 13 year old fire belly newt in the 5 gallon & a 7+ year old axolotl in the 10 gallon). I am currently working on the creation of a 29 gallon freshwater community in a Biocube. The funny thing about this whole experience is the more research I do the further away from my initial idea of what I thought I'd get. I guess that's to be expected when you're new to this hobby. I basically thought I'd get a gold fish (I will always want a lionhead of sorts)but the family voted on a community tank so now I'm preparing to have a couple of kribensis. Don't get me wrong the more I learn the more fascinated I become. Admittedly, there's also a feeling of being overwhelmed. Hopefully you guys can keep me on track & assist in giving a good home to our new friends.

Thanks for being there & looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

There are many, many fish out there to choose from but compatability can also be an issue. Everyone on here, well, most are always keen to give advice and suggest stocking options for your tank.
Research is the key.
