One of my favorite fancy strains I'm breeding is the green zebrinus lowersword guppy. I've got those both grey and blond bodied. But to me, the green on a grey base color, looks way better.
The males have this clear zebrinus pattern on both sides of the body. I recently crossed some females of them to vienna emerald doublesword males to enhance the green that emerald guppies have. A number of juvenile males are now developing color. Once they're fully colored up, I'll show them. But in this case, the lowersword gene is dominant over the doublesword gene. To get the doublesword back, I need to cross the F1 females to the father.
