green water ?

hi guys


my water gives off sum green look to it when the light is turned on its clear but when using the room light it has a green haze to it.. i just wanted to know if this was normal or not

i'm assuming it is a bacteria bloom bcoz i don't have algae on my drift wood and decorations

Algae bloom would show breen if the light is on or off. If the tank only looks slightly tinted green when the lights are off I'd guess it's just the way it looks - perhaps you have some blue in the tank that mixed with the yellow of incandescent room lighting can give a green effect - just speculating here...
