Green tiger barb lost his red lips

I guess the title says it all. My green tiger had red lips and a red tip on his fin but now it's just dark green. I got a normal tiger at the same time and he's ok. Anyone got any ideas?

The bright red nose tells you he's a male, and my Tigers change colours quite regularly. I've seen a normal one's stripes turn from black to green to black again in about 1 minute flat before!! But I've never seen the red colouring dissapear.
If you only have 2, then that may be the problem. They really should be kept in groups of at least 6, and preferably 8 or more. I would suggest you go and get at least another 6 (provided you have room for them, and the tank is fully cycled!!!!) and see if that solves the problem.

I've got 3 of them and I am planning on getting a couple more, I've also seen the normal tiger's stripes change from black to green.

The one with the loss of red lips seems to be hiding behind the filter a lot and the other 2 will come and nudge him out to play.
