Fish Herder
now i have run into this fish a few times now, they look like little cardinals.
i bought 6 a month ago and got six basic neons to go with them, since in my time with tetras, neons and cardinals get along pretty well. to my surprise however these green tetras so to speak never grew up, while the neons got to be about 2 inches (average i think for neons) these green tetras stayed the same size.
now i believe they are part of the cardinal family just because of the red strip that goes though their body.
my question is has anyone heard of green tetras? and if you have do the get any bigger, these guys are maybe an inch in size.
any info you can give me would be great, i would love links too if you have them on hand.
