Green terror

Looking at adding one male green Terror in my 300l (80 gallon) tank once it’s set up.
I know these are very aggressive at times and am just asking for tank mate suggestions in my 300l tank

Possible bottom dwellers or even another cichlid please help me out with some ideal tank mates

There are some people that successfully keep them with other fish but it’s not the easiest to predict. Especially long term.

Some mid sized pleco might work or one of the Dora catfish species seem the most likely candidates but all quite reclusive species.

Cichlid wise I’d be looking at a much bigger tank as you’d need numbers to disperse the aggression that won’t fit in a 300 litre

My first preference would be to pair with another Green Terror of the opposite sex.

Green Terrors tank mates should be a similar size with a bold temperament. Other large cichlids, such as the Green Severum Cichlid, Fire Mouth Cichlid, or Jack Dempseys, can be good tankmates for the Green Terror.

Larger species that can live with the Green Terror include Tetras, Plecs, Gars, and Silver Dollars.
