Green Spotted Puffer With Gold Fish And Pleco?

I just received a 55 gallon from one of my mom's friends and it came with a black moore and another large fancy tailed goldfish, which their fins were all torn up I am assuming from the puffer.

The puffer has been fed on goldfish flakes and that's about it. It looks pretty healthy but I know this is a brackish fish and should be in a brackish set up.

How would I go about doing this? or would I just be better off donating him to a LFS?

I put the two gold fish in my other gold fish tank so now they are in their own cold water set up and I took the puffer back to the lfs.
