Have been looking closely at my green polyp for a few days now as a few heads seem to have suffered, on closer inspection today I have seen a few nudibranch in there which are obviously not doing it any good, anyone know of a way to get rid of the little blighters, only suggestion I have had so far is invest in a wrass which may eat them? not sure if that will work tho, any advice would be appreciated before it completely dies!

cheers all

the same thing happened with one of my polyps. i rinsed it in some freshwater that got some out and then i pulled out all the rest. after that all of the heads of the polyp opened again :good:

Remove the rock, dip in flatworm exit, rinse twice with saltwater, and place back in the tank. Do this daily for 5 days and cross your fingers you get all of them, even the eggs

will def give it a go got nothing to loose as the polyp is not looking to good, just take it you if you delicately handle the croal it shouldnt do any harm?

Agree with that - if you can't get flatworm exit just use straight RO water, but match the temperature to your tank. Make sure you hold the polys/LR upside down for a few seconds in the plunge bath, even shake it gently, so the little buggers can 'fall' out.

i had two nudibranchs on my young fingers coral, that were eating it. best thing i did, get a turkey paster(spelling?) and suck them up. it worked for me, and no more coral eating nudibranchs :good:
