L200's 'proper' common name is the 'Lemon Spotten Green Plec', the name 'green phantom' is a fish-store name created to make them sound more exciting.
The L200 is actually the same species as the Blue Phantom, but green instead of blue-black!
WE bought our L200 six months ago for £35 at around 2.5 inches, he hasn't grown much but he's stayed healthy and eats like a horse!
Ours eats all the usual plec foods such as plec wafers (hikari for preference), sinking carnivore pellets, sinking flake, bloodworm, chopped prawn, cooked brussells sprouts and of course his favourite zucchini (courgette)
He's a bold little fella too, nearly aways snuffling around in the sand at the front of the tank or hanging upside down from the bloodworm feeder rasping at the bloodworms.
