Green Dot Puffers

BTW are Green Dot Puffers bracish? Some puffers are and I'm kind of a noob.

GSP's (green dot puffers are more commonly called green spotted puffers, no big difference) Are brackish and usually max out at about 3 inch's (6 in the wild). I'm Not sure of the SG (salt level) needed for the water, but they will require to live in a brackish tank.
GSP's are aggressive, and should ideally be kept with only their own kind, if that. They should be kept in a tank no smaller than 15 gallons, and require a very specific diet, so you will have to buy live and frozen food . :)

The common name I'm more familiar with is green spotted puffers, I am sure that they're the same as green dot puffers.

It is in general agreement that GSPs are a brackish-water fish as juveniles, and slowly swim into full marine waters when they're adults. That means that it is recommended that you start them in a brackish tank and slowly raise the SG until the water becomes marine. I'm not sure of a proper timetable for this, but many people in the Oddball's Institute have GSPs and know how to do this properly.

Their max size is generally 17.0 cm in most sources you consult.

They can get up to 6" in a tank. You will need 30gal per GSP. They are very territorial and they don't tolerate their own kind well either. I'd get one and put it in a 29-30gal
