Hello, Im writting this for my sister, She lives hours away, and our work scheduales dont really allow us too talk much on the phone. So Im going too have very limited information for you guys, untill i get ahold of her too find out more.

So I gave her my 55gallon about 2 years ago, Basic setup. skimmer, pump, powerhead, and about 40 too 50lbs live rock.

Cant give you any details on Salinty,Nitrates,or ammonia Levels. Ph should be around 7.5/7.9

2-clown fish
2-blue devil damsels
1-Uknown

The past 7months, She's been Plagued With alage everywhere, I belive its hair algae on the rocks and sand bed, and another green alage covering the glass.

Shes tried hermit crabs and snails, they doo a great job cleaning the tank, then seem too slowly die off afterwards. She usually gets about 5 or 7 at a time..

I know theres not much information here for you guys too work on, but thats All the info I have for you guys at the moment. And its been a few years since I had any involvment with owing a fish tank, So i draw a blank trying too figure it out.

Thank you

Not too familiar on saltwater tanks, I just want to say :hi: to TFF!!!!

Someone should be around to help you out!

Will definitely need more info... To start with,
Water parameters including phosphate level.
What type of water? RO or tap or??
What type of lighting and how long is it on for?

If the pH is indeed 7.5... that is quite low... Low pH over time could be causing the invertebrate deaths.
