So my green algae is going CRAZY and is growing EVERYWHERE ON my Glass... Isn't there any substance that i can put into my tank that will kill the algae or slow its growth down so i don't have to clean the glass every day. I have 7 snails in my 55 and they do a pretty good job, but its just outpowering them... and ideas?

Check your phosphates. Shorten your light cycle. Reduce your feedings. Use your test kits. Algae grows because your tank has excess nutrients. The only way to kill algae is to starve it.

reduce the lighting is often the quickest way to clear it up especially if the water is good. But check the water to make sure.
Adding more snails will help.

If you use an algicide it will harm any corals in the tank.

I agree with colin get some more snails like another 10 turbos and the algae will go.....

Regards

Alright, yea i reduced the feeding and i put my lights on the timer to go on hour and a half later and off and hour and a half earlier and it has helpd alot, not just to get my new rock in and get about 10 more snails and hermit crabs and il be good to go i think.
