Okie Dokie,

Here we go, when using the gravel vac, is it alright to leave your fish in the tank, I'm guessing your supposed to take them out. The last time I did it, I took them out, but it made a lot of mess that was uncalled for, is there an easier way of doing things?

Hugs!

I don't take mine out, they just keep out of the way, apart from my beta who's so damn curious he can't keep out of anything.

Same here i would never take the fish out, after a while they just get used to it and its not so stressful as taking them out.
My guppies regularly get sucked up and are never worse for wear its just a bloody great water slide to them!

some of my cichlids attack it!! I have never had a fish get injured or sucked up by teh vac. just leave em in.

I leave mine in. Every so often i'll get one of my albino cory's because they blend in with gravel so well, but i just turn the vac horizontal so they can swim out. Just have to keep your eyes on them :alien:
