Gravel Vac Advice

has anyone ever used this type of gravel vac before
if so are they any good.
what about the price,
would this be a good buy?
any comments are greatfully received.

My friend specks has a gravel vac like this (not hagen though) & she finds it a great help in cleaning the tank. She bought hers from 'The Range' (a home & garden store) & they are available in our local pet stores for £14.99. This makes the one on ebay rather pricey as the £3.99 p&p brings the total price to pay up to £16.98.

It's just a little surface poo-remover - not a gravel vac as such. Perhaps handy if you have large plecs in a sand substrate tank.
I had one, but just found it made the water cloudy, as the force of the water going through the little net, made the poo disintegrate and distribute the fine bits throughout the tank - not nice.
But otherwise not worth it in my opinion.
