very nice setup. platys should be fine for the cycling period. they are very hearty little fish. I am using swordtails and platys to cycle my tanks.

That's a 55 gallon right? I just aqcuired 3 55 gallons and I am deciding what kind of lighting to use. What type of bulbs do you have exactly? The lighting looks great!
