Gouramis with clamped fins

Just got home from work and say that one of my dwarf fire's has clamped fins and is struggling at the bottom what should i do?

Check parameters and do a water change is what i do when something like this happens. Also if possible isolate the gourami until you can diagnose what is causing the symptoms. Is the fish just sittin g on the bottom or is it wiggling back and forth in one place. Is there rapid gill movement, are the gills the right color, is the fish's color faded? Keep us posted.

The fish is still on one place and he is really darker than usual. There is a little to much nitrites so i am going to do a water change.

Bam fish died he started to move around and only one of his fins started to work and the other didnt. Died this evening.

Sorry about your loss . Dont add any more fish until those levels are under control for at least a couple of weeks.
