I posted a similar post in Bettas and Gouramis but no one responded
SO, I'll ask here. I have a 22 gallon tank, this is my first attempt at keep gouramis...I have one blue gourami and one pink kissing gourami...I am probably going to add one more of each in a few weeks, but I wanted to know first if this was too much, or just enough, and once I've added the other two if the tank isn't too small, can I add anything else? I wanted either catfish(but that turned into a disaster; read black-tip sharks in catfish cradle) or schooling little fish, but I think the gouramis will eat the little schooling fish once they're fully grown(they've already grown almost an inch in the time I've had them-2 weeks!!). And I really think once they're adults the tank will be too small...so I'll upgrade the tank to maybe a 50 gallon..then what? Can a betta survive in a tank with gouramis? If not, then what can I add with the gouramis?
