I am sooooooo happy. I have been wondering on the site for about two weeks now, reading up on bettas. I have had 3 betta before, only one remains of the original 3(been swimming for a 2yrs now). So I was thinking of buying two more again. That's when I saw a post for crowntails and fell in love with bettas again. So I began to search for ct's up and down the north and south of cali. I swear I have been to so many pets stores it's not even funny. Finally today I got out my yellowpages and just started calling every lps. I was gonna give up, one more number to go it was 3 citys away too, so I call and the guy says to me," Yes, I have ct's just came in today, I have about 20. I got in my car and drove in bumper to bumper traffic (57 N, for those of you in cali you know what am taking about.) So i get there and I was in heaven (or something like it lol). Picked up a steal blue one, man is he spunky. I also picked up a skinny little thing he's a gold yellow color. I am worried bout him though. He is really skinny compare to the other one's, I wasn't going to get him, but he kept looking at me 
. I have put betta max in his water as well as to other ct just to be on the safe side. I will post pictures tomorrow. Sorry for the long post it was just exciting, cause it was a great adventure. P.S.
Last week got two female bettas. That brings my count to 5. (That doesn't compare to some of you guys, you know who you are. lol)
searching for the fabled crown-tail is kinda like treasure hunting isn't it? hope to see pics soon
