Whats the rec for SW tanks??? I've read that one per 2 gallons? what is ment by this?

Rule of thumb I use is 1 Snail/Crab etc. per gallon

Snails clean the rocks and the glass, hermit crabs clean the rocks and the sand and the very bottom of the glass.
