I've now got some REAL corries, no not baby Synos this time  ! They're cute little things with tiny barbels that swim in groups and are constantly digging up the sand. Great fun to watch
Type 1 - about 3cms, pale pink with red eyes
Type 2 - about 4cm, greyish with tiny spots all over

PROBLEM - They were unwanted fish neglected by previous owner. Water in the bucket they came in was filthy brown. They have fin rot and the pink ones have reddish patches near their gill covers and pectoral fins (is this normal for their species?) A few pinks also seem to have sores near gills. Put them all in hospital tank and dosed with ESHA 2000 which cured my very ill rescued gourami that had finrot and weren't even moving. Gourami are healthy and active, eating well now. Hope med will do the same for these poor corries

What is the best food and temp for them? Tank has clean newly washed fine sand substrate with coconut shells to hide in.

Best food would be a mix of fresh veg, skinking catfish pellets and live/frozen food.

Temps vary with species. Photos would help. The pale ones sound like albino aeneus but the spotted ones could be any of several species. Most likely peppereds but a photo would confirm.

Corydoras need a good amount of protein in their diets.

Feeding them live blood worm, and very thinly chopped prawns and earth worms I have found to do very well.
I also feed cories on king british catfish pellets and Tetra Prima. I would say stay away from the mixed veg, to get the right vegitable matters into them go for the pellets.

With this feeding regime I was able to raise over 150 fry from a single spawning feeding the fry on micro worm and then when larger on crushed tetra prima.

for a full guide to cories and hopefully this will help you ID your cories check this PDF out: http://jamesstuddart.co.uk/The_Fish/
The pdf is in the page for download, acrobat is playing silly sids here so I had to right click and Save As on the download link.

Its not quite finished but its a good starting point.
