Hey everyone,
I went to the lfs yesterday and they had 10 girls. I couldn't choose so I got them all. They were extremely stressed out so I couldn't tell what colours they were. I thought I had gotten 3 cambodian girls, but it turns out that they are actually orange. I have one that is white with irridescent blue fins. The others are red, blue and brown. I went to another lfs after that and saw a boy I couldn't pass up. He is orange in the body, but only the top, his fins and his belly are white with irridescent blue streaks. I am soooooo lucky. I am going to take some pics when I get some batteries so I can show them to you.
I think I have too many females in my tank, there are 17 in my 20g. They aren't fighting as much as displaying for eachother, and there are no nipped fins, yet. I am watching very closely. The tank is heavily planted with fake plants and there are 4 terra cotta pots for caves and one big cave structure. If I see there is a problem, I may put some of the girls in my 55g. I am not sure about that though cause I have a gourami in there and he is quite large and may be a bit aggressive. I could also get a bigger tank. The females are really small still, maybe only 1" or so. I am willing to upgrade to a 40G if I have to.
