A couple of days ago I saw something that I though was a Panda Corydora egg that turned brownish and it looked like it had a couple of specks of black that could have been eyes. I thought it was a fry getting ready to pop out.

Today I saw the same "egg" and found it interesting that it would still be there. I also noticed it moved rather slowly but not swimming like a fish, but like a snail. I followed its ~1mm size and verified it was a snail with a magnifying glass. The pictures I took are worthless because it's just a small brown blur otherwise I would have posted it. I believe I saw a couple of black specks on the body but the distance, lighting and size made it hard to view clearly.

I looked for more but didn't find any. I saw a couple of ~1mm eggs on the glass that are next to each other and thought they were more Panda Cory eggs but they don't look exactly like the others and all the others have been on plants and all separate. I also found about 4/5 black dots on a plant that are much smaller. I'm not sure what they are.

So my question is how can I have a new snail? I have one Nerite and apparently they don't breed well in captivity. The last time I introduced fish was March 21 and the last time I introduced a plant was on March 10. I inspected and rinsed the plants before introducing them.

Those two eggs had a brown color to them last night and are gone today. There is only an outline of where they were. There are now three more eggs a short distance from where there others were. They aren't round so they could be Nerite eggs. I'm not expecting them to really do anything since they need a marine environment to thrive.

I lost it the last couple of days but was able to catch it before hiding again. It's not the greatest pic but at least it looks like a small light brownish thing. I could barely make out a couple of black dots on it with a magnifying glass but I still don't know what kind it is. The eggs that were on the glass are now gone. Maybe whatever they were hatched and are hiding out.
