Congrats. He's really pretty. Do snakes get attached to thier owners? I've been considering getting one for a while. Unfortunatly I won't be able to for a few more years though.

Yeah, they do. It's not like... they answer to their name or anything lol. But if you handle your snake regularly, it will get to know your "taste" and will usually be happy around you. :good:

obviously, this differs from species to species as some are more aggressive, but generally you can bond with a corn snake.

Absolutely Esfa..........they do seem to be able to sense who is handling them :good: plus we take them out everyday to make sure that they get used to us (except for a couple of days after feeding) :D

Hi
Yep, he was dead for no apparent reason. Everything in his viv was just right, heating, ventilation, water etc......

Took him back to the people i got him from today, so they could see if they could find out why? Its looking like some kind of organ failure though. Guess i was just unfortunate.

Whilst there, they offered a replacement. Got the choice of a 3 year old Okeetee corn (very friendly), a candycane hatchling, a miami hatchling, or i can hang on until their Sunglow corns hatch?

Still deciding?

im so sorry for your loss

i think you should get a snow corn :) i have always kept snows lol - the novelty of a pink snake!

take care - and take time choosing!! - you better show us pics! - tell netty to post some of her baby - but get some with u holding them - as u cant see how little they are otherwise!!

Cheers Snoopy
Yeh, gonna think about it for a day or two? Think it will be a sunglow though.
Anyway, i am collected my Brazilian Rainbow Boa tomorrow :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: So that'll keep me occupied for a while.

Netty wants a Snow so we'll be keeping an eye out one :good:
