GOT MY TANK!!!!

I got my tank yesterday and its all set up, just waiting for the water ager to take effect then i will start adding fish.

will take some photos tonight without the fish in it, unless my fiance buys one today.

Only problem is the light has a dodgy switch. takes a few tries to get it on.

this is only a idea for the light problem!
i have a 5 way plug board with switchs (small underwater light, lid light, air pump, heater, filter) and i have my lid light switched on all the time and just switch it off by the pulg board. so if you have a near plug, put the lid light in that and just leave the other switch on! lol just a idea

water in my part of the world is high in chlorine, the water ager removes the chlorine from the water and the one i got helps the fish with their slime coating.

as for the light idea. i like it, im going to have to lash out on a plug board eventually as at the moment the room only has 2 powerpoints and 1 has a 4 board running my pc and the other has the 6 board with the tank accesories and a tv.

You mean dechlorinator, just never heard anyone call it water ager. It doesnot age the water

Well, in australia, we call it water ager.

bear in mind that this isnt a new tank. it had already been used as a tropical tank, i just moved it from one house to another, leaving about 1inch of water in it and kept the filter wet so all the bacteria was kept and it doesnt need cycling.

The thing says it does it instantly, but i thought i would give it some time.
