got my betta! got a question!!!!!!

I went out the othr day and got my new betta. I decided to get one now and in a few weeks if i see another nice one i will get it for my other vases (large 1 gal - 1.5 gal flower vases). My betta looks beautiful. He's body is blue, his fins start blue and turn kinda turquois and the tips are a flame red color.

Any way I've only had him since saturday and i think he's already build a bubble nest. But i'm not sure if it is or not.

I kinda looks like someone spit in the water and it's off to one side. is is possibly a bubble nest?

if it is i'm so excited that my little guy is happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well to me it sounds like you may have a bubblenest but i aint completely sure!

i will be like loads of bubbles after washing up or bubble bath so i would say it was .....If its not a nest then someone has spit in your vase......

nobody has spit in my vase! Sorry about the gross discription but that is what is looks like the most and i wanted you guys to understand what i was looking at. I don't appreciate those comments when all i'm asking is for some honest help. I wanted to make sure it was a bubble nest and not something wrong with my betta or his tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats what you got as i said it looks like a bubble bath or washing up thats the easiest way to describe what it looks like , you'll just have to forgive my sense of humor were all diffrent...... you made the description, of what it looked like

there are some pictures around the forum of what bubble nest looks like.

I have mine posted in one of my threads and cant remeber which one but ths is what it loooks like for my fish. from my reading in the forum s people havse said that bettas make different types of bubble nests.

This is the latest one my betta has been building since i destroyed his last one cleaning the tank.

A male will build a nest to show off if he is happy and is in competition with another male if he can see one it is also were when breeding he will place the fertilized eggs.............and the fry once the are hatched until they become old enough and leave home three days...............
