They arrived via the best secured fish post I have ever had and I ended up with 10 (had ordered 8) they went in last night and are gorgeous, most more explorative of the entire tank and still quite small at the moment. Really gorgeous specimens, didnt get great pics so hope to get some in the tank. (Thanks Matt! For all the guidance and also the inspiration if it wasnt for the photos of yours I wouldnt have discovered these!).

im off to get 6 more greens tomorrow and setting up a species tank for them, were all going cory mad!!!!!!!!!! :fun: :S

Nice fish. Love the color. Are they just a color morph of the Corydoras aeneus? They almost look like albinos with a bit more color and dark eyes. I like it.

Good for you, lilacamy931 :) They are great looking fish.

No, they are currently identified by the name Corydoras sp. CW 010, a separate species. The green lasers are known as Corydoras sp. CW 009. If you are looking for information about them, they were formerly referred to as color variations of C. aeneus, so the older literature will call them that. Their care is the same. :)

Thanks very much guys! I have gone a little cory mad but this is it now my gold perus, caudimaculatus and pygmies. I ordered from a guy who had an advert for these back in July on Aquarist Classifieds just in case and he had some still. I paid £56.50 in total including postage, unsure on the courier will have to go fish the packaging out!

Nest of luck mattlee, these are gorgeous and glad you posted pics to inspire me!

They have settled in really well and play with the caudis :good:

..scurries off to find about that courier..

Couldnt find who the courier were as someone else signed for them and they cant remember. Sorry!

Thanks Harlequins, they are really active compared to the caudis and they love exploring the front glass, absolutely gorgeous
