Addicted and in Therapy
I have recently decided I really like the looks of the little Azoo tanks, and of course I'm addicted to bettas since I have one already... so put two and two together and I ended up bringing home another fish today! Bought a little red tank, and then moseyed over to the bettas. One caught my attention pretty fast - he was much darker than the others, not your usual blue or red. He's actually a steel blue/grey with dark red/maroon in his fins. Verrrrry pretty, took me a little getting used to since he's not bright, but he's really unique so I'm excited.
However... one thing I am worried about - since putting him in his new tank he's been really freaking out. What I mean is erractically swimming about - no direction at all, swimming head first into the gravel, thermometer, etc. It looks very painful... and obviously can't be fun. Maybe just the new space is freakin him out? Or the current from the lil filter? He was better for awhile until I moved him upstairs, and then it started all over again. I am also at times afraid he's going to jump right out of the water. I covered him up so for now, just in case. This lil boy is so much different from my other one I'm like whoa! Jack is such a stud and afraid of nothing, and this new one is very shy. Hmm.. it'll take some getting used to but I look forward to it. Any tips for helping me get him used to his new tank?! I'm scared he's going to severely stress himself out. Thanks everyone. I'm happy to have rescued him from his diiiiiiiiiirty cup.. ew, it was so bad.
