Got a new yellow girl!

Well, for the past 2 weeks, the planted tanks (used for stocking plants to sell, about 40 gallons long) has had many, many yellow female bettas. They're not in very high demand, so I've been enjoying watching them on my twice weekly visits....

Well, I finally broke down and brought one home! I looked for the most vibrant, pure yellow one I could find She seems active and has a good appetite, she's on her own for now (in a home that wont allow for pictures) but will probably be introduced to a clear tank tomarrow mostly for picture purposes (temporary, so probably less than a gallon for a week) and then if she is nonaggressive enough, she'll be put in my community tank with the other girls... If she decides to get nippy (the 2 girls in there show 100% NO aggression, but I know I wont always be so lucky!) she'll go back on her won until I set up my betta-only girl tank in a few weeks.

Check it yo! I'll be sure to get some more photos soon. I decided to move her into a larger tank (she's used to 30 gallons, and seemed very depressed in something small... So she's in the big tank, and I'm waiting for her to settle in)

Ok, this fish is a hassle! I took over 500 photos, trying to get ONE decent shot... She was ALWAYS darting around, hiding..... No good photos after that first one. I gave up, and focused my camera on my hair algae because I wanted to post some photos and ask questions about it... Of course, she picks THAT time to continuously get in the way and start showing off for the camera! Anyhow, I finally got a FEW pics of her when I was trying to photo some algae...

Yes, the loach IS about 4 times her size. She's just much closer to the camera

These both have all 3 girls in the photo... But in the first one, they're all in the way of eachother, so you can only make out fins ^^

Clover, without the camera flash, she is 100% pure yellow. In her tankmates (which were from the same spawn) there were yellows with blue rays, and yellows with red rays. I was searching for the most 'pure' looking (but ended up with the second most pure, as the bright yellow seemed rather aggressive and I didn't want my other pretty girls shredded up!)

I'm not sure yet! I have a theme with naming them inside jokes from Networking... (Kaczy, Panther, Ronoldo, Berry, Falsetto...) but I can't think of one that matches her! None of my reserve names fit her, because I want a feminin name, and I'm in only girl to set foot into that class!

I was thinking about "Lass", as Lass Pantless is the superhero in my entworking comic, and I already have a Ronoldo (who is Lass Pantless' arch nemisis!)
