Could I successfully keep some corals in a 90 gallon corner tank with 90 watts of T8 lighting???

Would I have to go with a fish only tank in this case, and if there are some corals, anemones, and/or feather dusters that I could keep, which ones would require less light?

I am thinking of going with inline filtration that handles up to 100 gallons and has an inline heater and UV sterilizer. I'd also add a protein skimmer to the mix, as well as a calcium additive. Can it be doen with such low light? Thanks for your feedback...

You could have a reef tank with low light corals :good: As Mutant says, bung on some reflectors as well, oh and :hi: to the salty side

Thanks for the feedback guys. It's good to know that this is an option for me.

On a side note with Calsium though, you don't want to be adding anything you can't test for, and you don't want to dose Ca without first testing and correctling Mg and Alk in that order :good:

Leathers, Mushrooms, Botton (zoo) polpys, Pulsing Xenia should all be fine. Most of them will need feeding Marine Snow or equivelant though... They will take up limited ammounts of Ca, Alk e.t.c.m so the levels should be maintainable with normal waterchanges rather than suppliments :good:

All the best
