Ok, yesterday I was looking into a 90 gallon (I mentioned it here). Well I decided it was too small and I've been meticulously planning for a 29 gallon for months. So today I went and got my new 29 gallon. So it has all its substrate, a few strands of anacharis and a matured sponge filter sitting in it. The big rocks are hanging out getting some bacteria from one of my 10 gallons and the wood is trying to sink in a tub in the bathroom. Sooo, how long do I wait to put in my cycling zebra danios (5)? They are living in my mini-bow for now. I figure I have a jump start on my cycle from adding things in it that already have bacteria.

I'm confussed...you thought a 90 gal was too small so you decided to go with a 29 gal?? :sly:

Anyway...I think it would be safe to add the dano's when the temp in the water is stable. Go ahead and get them in there.

Good Luck

oops..I was chatting while posting so my post came out wrong...I meant anything bigger than a 29 would be way too big for my tiny-a** condo. :) And thanks for the info..I wasn't sure how long to wait. And I'm attached to my new danios already so I don't want to kill them.
