Hey,

Basically, i think it would be a good idea if everyone who has a good trusted LFS they should share the information with us all. Whilst this site has members from all over the world, there are people who live in the same areas.. And so i think it would be a good idea if we could get a list going and then this would always help people who live in similar areas. If everyone just names the shop, gives its location and then a little bit about it!

Sorry mods, just remove it if u think its unsuitable!

Good idea! :)

Anyone in or near Manchester (UK), i'd highly reccommend OASIS in Salford. Really professional place with loads of tanks. They specialise in African Cichlids and Marine but also have loads of community fish etc and will order any specialist fish you may want.

Oasis

Not a great website but address, phone no. and directions are on there. I've told a few people about this place on the forum's and no-one has been dissapointed.

I'l start!

QSS Aquarium and Pond Supplies
339 Wakefield Rd, Bradford.
(I have no affiliation sp? with this store its just ace!)

Its got loadsa tanks, theyre all very clean and the fish are in good condition. I went earlier and theyve got discus, full size oscars, BGK's, elephantnose, butterflyfish, arrowanas...last time they had rays. Theyve got all the normal fish aswell, it really is amazin. I was talking to one of the guys who work there and he was jst tlkin about their asia delivery coming next week n i cant wait!

Mods i realise this is a little risky so if u dont like it feel free to remove, i honestly have no connection i just think this thread is a good idea for anyones future reference!

ATLAS AQUARIUM. In Wavell Heights, North Brisbane, Australia. Highly recommended. Truthful and will admit when something needs changing without trying to make you buy lots more than you need. :D
Also they know their stuff and stock a great range of marines, tropicals, natives and brakish water types of fish, look after thier fish too!!! And a great display tank.

I think all UK shops should really go into this PINNED topic started by bunjiweb - to keep info nice and consolidated
