First up, my boys! Kipper (double rex) and Chico (beige).
Their cage:

It looks small in this pic but according to the "rat per cage" calculators it is large enough to house both rats (2 cubic feet per rat), however I will start working on my parents to let me get them a bigger cage mawhahaha lol.

The best dog in the whole wide world! People often think she's still a puppy when they see her, but she's actually 4 years old.

Wow that was a lot of pics lol

You have an interesting group at your house and I'm wondering if they all get along..?? I've thought of getting birds but my youngest cat is such a bully to the fish, I can't imagine what she'd do to them...

I think your rats have a superb looking residence. They look very happy in their hammock. If they don't like it, then they can just write to their member of Parliament or whatever government representative ... or they can move out... another option. :p

Nice photos!

all gorgeous animals
Has the dog got some Akita in Her?The one of her on the bed definatly makes her look like she does and she is gorgeous

POTM nomination of her on the bed Yawning

Wow, I think you get the award for most pictures in one post!!!! Great looking bunch you have there, thanks for sharing and congratulations on the digital camera, look forward to more photos! :good:

Well the rats and birds are in my room which is off limits to the cats. I personally would not trust my cats with the birds, they kill birds and other small animals outside all the time so whos saying they wouldn't go after my birds. But non of my birds are tame so apart from daily exercise of flying around my room they don't leave the cage (or room), so I guess I've never had to worry about the cats.
And oh yes they love their hammocks, they are so cute when they cuddle up in there together. They are the best of pals :) And I really like the cage, its very easy to clean and the bar spacing is perfect, so they better like it! LoL. Just wish the doors were larger.

Maybe she could? We know for sure she has husky, shepard and sheltie, but we're not certain on anything else. We adopted her from our local OSPCA.
Thanks for the nomination :D

Yes, I do think I went abit overboard lol. Photos aren't turning out the greatest but I'll learn how to use the camera properly eventually :)

nice pets

do your rats pee everywhere? lol I've been spamming that question

Well Chico is very good about it but Kipper is another story. He dribbles pretty much everywhere he walks, however its not like a big puddle, just a few drops, and thankfully rat pee doesn't have a scent to it (or atleast I haven't noticed). I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that Chico was handled with from birth but Kip was not?

Thanks for all the comments everybody!
