anyone know anything about them? lighting requirements? how hard are they to take care of? I think theylook really cool, but am just in the process of starting to "reefize" my fowlr tank and want to start with some basic stuff

Heh, gorgs = NOT basic . There are two types of gorgonian; photosynthetic, and non-photosynthetic. The non-photosynthetic gorgs should only be kept by EXTREMELY advanced aquarists with BIG tanks as they're nearly impossible to keep alive (voracious filter feeders). The photosynthetic gorgs are usually green, and not the easiest species to keep themselves. I'd rate them at a moderate level of experience. Even still, I personlly wouldn't purchase one...
