Goose Hunting

anyone else here hunt or shoot???
my dad and i got our limit on geese today....
it was a blast......
hahaha....blast.... get it??
anyway, just wondereing if i had any fellow hunters...

We don't hunt but we enjoy the bounty of our hunting friends! Goose is great. We skinned the last one we had, rather than plucking it. Ymmmm.....

aahhh, plucking geese takes forever...
though they tast great.
we got 6 today,
and we didnt want to pluck them, but we had to....
it took hours......

i do quite a bit of shooting, mainly pigeons and vermin but sometimes get the oppertunity of a driven pheasant day,

last outing was across some flooded fields jus near my house where there is quite often a lot of duck but only saw two snipe!! now they are proper hard to hit, so of course i missed em both!!

snipe are a wee bit difficult. it took my dad and i 5 shots to get one down. it was pretty bad shooting.
pheasants are great birds to hunt.
i like quail as well, tasty little birds.
i went goose hunting last weekend with my dad grandpa and cousin. limit!
12 birds,
it was fun
