Avira, threatfire, Superantispyware, zonealarm, spybot noscript (firefox addon) and some common sense is all I need to know! But seriously there are some great security specific forums and what they don't know isn't worth knowing!
OK here's the issue. I've got 4 plasma tv's which I want to push hdtv through to over a cat 5 network. In my server room I've got a pc which I want to set-up media center on and then push that signal over ethernet to the tv's. The issue I have at the minute is how to push audio through the hdmi cables at the same time.
I have the baluns and the balun switch required to convert the signal over ethernet and that part works pretty well, it's just how to push the audio through at the same time. I think I need to be using the s/pdif port...but not quite sure how s/pdif works or what i need to get it to push the audio through the hdmi cable. Any ideas would be most appreciated....
What type of baluns have you got? Some feed the signal back to the HDMI output - some do not ... I suspect yours do not because you have a digital audio output - you should however be able to feed the digital audio straight into your screen.
Also - you mention you are using Cat 5 cable - you really need to be using Cat 6 for any distances over 30 metres.
