This may sound dumb but I have a 55g that is sitting in my basement. I want to bring it up and get it running and was thinking of just getting 1 fish and was wondering what would be a good fish to get. I'd like something that will get big enough for the tank, but obviously not too big that it would outgrow. I really don't want to do the tank with a bunch of little fish, was looking for something a little more unique, I thought it would be cool plus relatively easy to take care of. Any ideas?

Im pretty sure thats the bare minimum for an oscar so you MIGHT try that

the bare minimum is not really any good in my oppinian something like that will need bigger as oscars do get big upto 14", but im not disputing that it maybe the bare minimum, they are also very active and intelligent fish so they need space ont toys like ping pong balls but they do need good stimulation
