a quite a while ago I took a chance on a gold form Denison barb ( chance meaning they are highly variable as far as colors, some even revert back to traditional color form, and there is a high incidence of blindness on this line bred fish ) mine has a good gold and orange color, it can see, and is accepted into the school of regular Denison's... it's hard to get a good picture, it's much prettier in person, than in my pictures...

Haven't seen the gold version overhere yet. Did it had the same price as the regular ones?
 
Yes, a school of 5 regular Denison barbs the gold was accepted into...

thank you on the bamboo comment... there are over 50 stalks of Lucky Bamboo in this 55 gallon, & the background is a bamboo forest, so it looks pretty 3-D



almost 4 times more expensive from this quality seller... I know he culls out any blind ones, so he must have more costs involved with the selling of quality golds...
