I'm looking for a loach or loaches to share my semi aggresive environment with my current fish...
2x silver sharks (hmmm strange silver sharks. Have a black stripe down them and red/black fins?)
1x Bulldog Pleco
1x Black Ghost Knife
(Shud be gettin some african butterflys when my lfs get them in)

Bearing all this in mind I'm gonna need things that wont fit in my BGK's mouth and the butterflys mouths!! so nuthin 2 shy of 5 inches min.

I'm not to keen on clown loaches either...

Thanks for your time!!! :D

I would suggest the Dojo/Weather loach. I owned two and are a nice thick loach that grows to about 6inches. They're very fast and sort of like a bull dozzer in the fact that they will redecorate the tank, lol. If you have very small gravel they will also sometimes borrow in it so you can hardly see they're body. They're not that aggressive, but since they're much bigger and bulkier than most they would be ideal for bigger tank mates i think. I had them in my cichlid tank with no problems. They're very entertaining and don't hide nearly as much as most loaches(for example khulis).

We used to have a weather loach in our old coldwater aquarium! they are amizing fish to watch! Ours was called "The professor" and would sit in your hand to eat!!! such a friendly guy!!!

I was thinking that when the black ghost gets bigger he might eat him! That sleder body would be like spaghetti! Slurp!!

Hmm the tiger might be a good one! Just as long as he stays away from the ghost cos he only likes charlie the bulldog plec (they share a cave)! He hates the new silver sharks I got today and chases them away from the cave!!
Edit: I'm also looking for more active daytime fish as charlie (bulldog plec) and "The Emperor" (Ghost) like to come out and party at night...

Thanks!

Yes,with predators (Black ghost knife in this case) I would not suggest elongated loaches  MY gudgeon (5 inch) spit out the tail of whaty was a 5 inch horsefaced loach  Go for something like orange finned loaches, Botia modesta, I blieve
