Are there any freshwater eels that would fit in a 70 gallon tank? I'm not sure if there are even freshwater eels but forgive me I know nothing about them :D

There are quite a few FW Eels, probably the most commonly seen are the Asain Spiny Eels, including Fire Eels, Tire Track Eels and Peacock Eels. I would personally recommend a group of Peacock Eels. :) What else is in the tank?

get fire eels.......they the coolest

I looked around at a few lsf's and i saw a swamp eel for $190(me don't think so) and a spiny eel for $10(cha-ching :D ). I'm actally getting a 65 gallon tank instead of the 70(im off to buy that now).Do u think a full grown spiny eel would fit into a 65 gallon?

Depends on the species, as said you could have a few peacock spiney eels in there as these have a maximum size of around 14" but i would say that the tank would be too small for a full grown fire or tyre track eel both of which can exceed 30" when full grown.

I'm not sure what type it was because it just said 'spiney eels'. They did look like those peacock spiney eels though. They were the same colour but I didn't have a close enough look to see if they had spots on their back.
