Here at my university we have "fire and life safety" inspections every once in a while. I normally HATE these because I ALWAYS get fined for something. In my 4 years here I have probably paid around 500$ in fines. Anyways they came in today and luckily I was here, the guy looked around for a minute then he and the women just started talking about how awesome my fish tanks and setups were, and began asking me how hard the maintenence was on them. It made me feel good to know that someone thought my stuff was pretty despite all that I had been through yesterday with Kip and Pedro. All I got was a warning for my rug being too close to the door I knew the fish would distract them this year and I would go away fine free!! Just thought I'd post something happy since everyone of my posts have been so sad lately.

That's awesome Yay for fish saving the day!

It's funny how people react in different ways. Most folks who come over are usually impressed with my tanks, those who say nothing obviously just think I'm weird. Last week a couple came over to look at a bed I was selling. They saw my fishroom from down the hall and asked if they could look...they were impressed but they thought I was completely bonkers, I could tell
I was almost embarassed but meh,they just don't get it
