Good Beginner Books?

Hi all

I've been looking at books and reviews and getting myself confused..

Can anyone advise on good beginner books for Malawi cichlids..

- the basics on setting up and maintaining the tank etc
- also books with a good range of species and pics, including detailed behavioural info etc,

Any books by ad koning for species and pics setting up your tanks is quite easy best advice if your new is to read the forum posts Theres more on here than in any book.

I second that, books by Ad Konings - The back to Nature Guide to Malawi Cichlids is a good one to start with £12.99 from www.aquatics-online.co.uk !

I've gotten numerous books on cichlids out from my local library, but I agree with these guys, that this forum will provide a LOT more information then you'll get from a book. And it's infinite, interactive, ongoing, and always up to date. There are however some interesting books about cichlids, more like the study of them, behavior, and lake malawi, etc. But for any how-to stuff, care, tank set-up, etc, stick to this super-cool forum!
